DIXIE ANN THOMAS

            Dixie Ann Thomas, infant daughter of James Allen Thomas, Jr. and Dorothy Ann Lavigne was born July 13, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

            She died later the same day due to injuries sustained by her mother in an automobile accident earlier that day.  Dixie lived approximately 5 hours.

            Surviving in addition to her parents are her maternal grandmother; Karen Lavigne of New Freeport; maternal grandfather, Boyd Lavigne of Carmichaels; maternal great-grandfather, Ralph Johnson of New Freeport; maternal great-great grandmother, Junie Johnson of New Freeport; paternal grandfather, James Allen Thomas of Graysville; paternal grandmother, Debbie Jean Mason of Cameron; paternal great-grandparents, James & Bonnie Finch of Ryerson; paternal great-grandmother, Emma Thomas of Waynesburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

            She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, William Thomas; maternal great-grandmother, Sandra Johnson; and maternal great-great grandfather, Russell Johnson.

            Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM Saturday.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at the Sand Hill Cemetery, Ned, Pennsylvania with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.
