Donald G. Wise, 76, of Wana, WV died Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
He was born July 19, 1940 at Wadestown, a son of the late John C. Wise and Edna Garland Park Wise.
Don was a retired coal miner who retired with 30 ½ years of service and was a member of District #31, UMWA.
He was a member of the Wadestown United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son and his wife, John & Cindy Wise of Wana; one daughter and her husband, Kathy & Bruce Sine of Jakes Run; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Sandy Wise of Wana; and two grandchildren, Aaron Sine and Autumn Tennant.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Wise, who died August 9, 2007.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 5-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Park Cemetery on Miracle Run.
