Donald Ray Cooley, 58, of Bula, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born February 2, 1954 at Morgantown, a son of Dora Crigler of Mt. Morris and the late Everett Cooley, Jr.
Mr. Cooley formerly worked for Forquer Contracting and had most recently been working in the salvage business.
He was a Pentecostal by faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Bierer Cooley; four sons, Jason Cooley and his fiance Brandi Copeland of Bula, David Cooley of Texas, Donnie Cooley and Perry Cooley, both of Uniontown, PA; one daughter, Kristine Cooley of Bula; four brothers, Everett and Joyce Cooley of Mt. Morris, Robert and Tammy Cooley of Carmichaels, Michael Crigler of Mt. Morris, and Steven Cooley of Wyoming; five sisters, Alice and Mark Acton of Greensboro, PA, Brenda and David Willard of Fairview, Deborah Moellendick of New Martinsville, Marilyn Crigler of Fairview, and Donna and Stewart Davis of Texas; several grandchildren including Cameron Cooley who lives with his grandparents; two uncles, Wilbert Cooley and Norman Cooley; one aunt, Velma; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father; two brothers, Calvin Cooley and Kenny Cooley; one sister, Joyce Cooley; and one nephew, Chad Cooley.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 5-8 PM Friday. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
