Doris Lee Church Snider, 81, of Hundred, WV was being cared for at her home when she left this world on February 12, 2009, following a long battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born June 22, 1927, beloved only child of Arlie and Verda Church. Doris Lee attended nurses training at North Wheeling Hospital from 1945 until her graduation in 1948. She was married to Robert M. Snider on September 22,1948 and they enjoyed 59 years together until his passing in March 2008. Both were faithful members of the Rush Run United Methodist Church. Doris Lee was a loving and devoted mother to five children created by their union: Steve Snider, Rich Snider, Darlene Walker, Karla James and Todd Snider. She also enjoyed ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service was held for the immediate family members with the Rev. Charlene Edwards officiating. Burial was in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
