E. Frank Davis, 79, of Spraggs, PA, retired coal miner and antique dealer, passed away peacefully at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 29, 2008.

He was born March 17, 1928 at Cassville, WV, a son of the late William and Gertrude Booth Davis. Mr. Davis was a miner for Consol Osage Mine for 44 years and an antique dealer, owner of Davis Antiques, for 50 years.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Pauline Johnson Davis, whom he married on November 15, 1947; one son, Bill (wife Cathy), three daughters, Dolly Tuttle, June Spitznogle (husband Gary), all of Spraggs, PA and Ann Willard of Waynesburg, PA.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Jeff Davis of Waynesburg, PA, Jarett Davis, Alyssa Miller, and Mollie Spitznolge, all of Spraggs, Halie Tuttle of Mary Esther, Florida, Courtney Dawley of Vacaville, CA, and Ian Willard of Fairfax, VA; and five great-grandchildren, Dylan and Addy Davis of Mt. Morris, PA, and Hunter and Sadie Davis and Thaine Miller of Spraggs, PA.

In addition are a sister, Phyllis Statler and a brother, Donnie Davies of Morgantown, and there are 15 deceased brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday and from noon until 1:00 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Monday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
