Edith J. Headley, 99, of Bartlesville, OK and formerly of the Core and Mt. Morris, PA area died Friday, January 7, 2005 in the Medical Lodge in Dewey, OK.
Mrs. Headley was born February 22, 1905 in Greene County, PA a daughter of the late Wesley Allen and Ada Viola Fox Cowell.
Mrs. Headley was a homemaker. She was a member of the Dolls Run Christian Church and the Core Community Builders Club.
Surviving are one son, Frank Headley of Bartlesville, OK; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace P. Headley, who died on November 28, 1979, and two brothers, Elmer and Charles Cowell.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 PM Friday. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Cedar Grove Cemetery at Mt. Morris, PA with the Rev. David Lancaster officiating.
