Edward A. Cummins, 72, of Valparaiso, Indiana died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in the Fountainview Place Nursing Home in Portage, IN.
Mr. Cummins was born May 7, 1932 at Wana, WV a son of Mary Alice Minor Cummins of Valparaiso, IN and the late Arthur Cummins.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Ella Cummins of St. Louis, MO; two sisters & spouses, Betta Jane and Robert Copeland of Brave, PA and Carol Ruth and Monie C. Parker of Valparaiso, IN; three brothers and spouses, James Patrick & Nancy Cummins of Fairview, WV, Joseph Allen & Linda Cummins of Fort Washington, MD and John E. Cummins of Valparaiso, IN; two grandchildren, Tina Marie Palazzolo and Rosemarie Michelle Palazzolo, both of St. Louis, MO.
Mr. Cummins lived for several years in Halfway Oregon before returning to Indiana in 2002.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Sunday with the Pastor Rob Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Bank Cemetery, Pine Bank, PA.
