Ellen Lucille Sine Tedrow, passed away unexpectantly on August 6, 2006 at her home in the presence of her loving family.
Born in Hundred, WV on October 13, 1939, to Charley and Thelma Ross Sine. She married John Tedrow on December 29, 1956. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1998.
Ellen was a member of the Oak Forest United Methodist Church. She graduated from Hundred High School in 1957. She had lived in Beloit, Ohio, since 1969. She retired from Coastal Pet Products in 2000, after 16 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Debbie (Joseph) Degroff and Kimberly (Larry) Durenda of Alliance, Ohio; Mary (Michael) Harrison of Sebring, Ohio, John Samuel of Belleville, Michigan, and Robert (Cathy) Tedrow of Homeworth, Ohio; sister, Mary DeBolt of Vermilion, Ohio; brother, Charles (Jennifer) Sine of Hundred; her aunt Gertrude Smith of Fairmont, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ellen was a loving grandma to Melissa and Haley Degroff; Daniel, Steven, Jessica, and Jenna Durenda; Logan John Harrison, and Emily and Katelyn Tedrow.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, several cousins, and two infants. Ellen was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Friends will be received at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 12:00 Noon until the service hour at 2:00 PM. The Rev Ross Riggs will officiate. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Oak Forest Cemetery near Hundred.
