Elmer R. Wade, 87, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at his residence.

He was born October 9, 1922 at Georgetown in Marshall County, a son of the late Homer Wade and Carrie Gorby Wade.

Mr. Wade was a member of the National Rifle Association. He formerly attended the Littleton Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Nolan Wade; two sons, Billy Wade of Pine Grove and Adam Wade of New Martinsville; two daughters, Shirley Butler of Mannington and Nancy Cox of New Martinsville; three brothers, Adam Wade of Littleton, Chester Wade of Alliance, Ohio, and Edward Wade of Silver Hill; five sisters, Martha Tedrow, Ruth Ebert, Alice Sapp, and Marie Sapp, all of Littleton and Carolyn Sapp of Morgantown; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ephriam Wade and Raymond Wade.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-8 PM Friday (January 22, 2010). Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Wade Cemetery near Littleton.
