ERIC PAUL MCCLURE
Eric Paul McClure, 40, of New Freeport, PA died Saturday, September 14, 2019 at his residence.
He was born June 20, 1979 at Washington, PA, a son of the late William Paul McClure ad Vicky Lynn Morford.
Eric was disabled all of his life but had a passion for animals and loved to help those in need. Eric spent most of his time with his animals and in his flower garden.
Survivors include his step-mother, Debora McClure; two half brothers, Eli McClure and Paul McClure of New Freeport, PA; two step-sisters, Jenny Phillips of New Freeport, PA and Trace Fuller of Morgantown; one step-brother James Barnhart of New Freeport, PA; one nephew, Dennis Phillips; four children, Vicky McClure of Waynesburg, PA, Kimberly and Eric McClure of Mather, PA, and Micheala McClure of Jacktown, PA; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a niece, Shelby Barnhart.
Eric’s request to be cremated is being honored by his family. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2019 with Krislyn Barnhart officiating. Friends will be received from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held at the Springhill-Freeport Elementary School between New Freeport and Deep Valley, PA.
