Ernest L Bogard, 92, of Columbiana, Ohio died Friday, April 23, 2004 in the Salem Community Hospital in Salem, Ohio.
He was born October 16, 1911 at Hundred, WV a son of the late Joseph Samuel Bogard and Dorothy Mae Metz Bogard.
Mr. Bogard was a retired pipefitter and a member of the Pipefitters Local #545 from Parkersburg, WV.He was a member of the Columbianna Church of Christ.
Surviving are one son & daughter-in-law, Gregory & Sharon Bogard of Elkview, WV; one grandson, Matthew Bogard of Parkersburg, WV; one grandaughter & spouse, Lisa & Lee Moore of Vienna; one step-daughter, Patricia Erwin of Columbianna, Ohio; four stepsons & spouses, Gaylord and Beth Wright of Lisbon, OH, William & Jeanne Wright of Salem, OH, Paul & Ruby Wright of New Waterford, OH, and John & Carole Wright of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Louise Weaver of Parkersburg, WV; two brothers, Charles & Ellen Bogard of Colorado Springs, CO and Kenneth & Mildred Bogard of Union, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Vivian Williams Bogard who died in February 17, 1987; they were married on October 19, 1936; his second wife, Laura Mae Wycoff Bogard who died on February 26, 2003; they were married on October 15, 1987; two brothers, George Bogard and Harold Bogard, and three sisters, Esther Six, Josephine Bogard, and Maxine Schweinbraten.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Monday with the Evangelist Matthew Bogard and Evangelist Gary Bailey officiating.Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery, Ned, PA.
