Eva B. Miller, 93, of Smokey Drain Road, Core, WV died Saturday, October 15, 2005 in the Madison Rehab and Nursing Center in Morgantown.
She was born June 5, 1912 at Independence, WV a daughter of the late Roy C. Weber and Orpha B. Pratt Weber. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters Lodge #18 of Core, the Mason-Dixon Rebekah Lodge #75 of Blacksville and the Olive United Methodist Church. She was a 1933 graduate of Masontown High School.
Surviving are three sons & spouses, Leland and Karen Miller, Lyle and Myrtle Miller, and Larry and Lavonia Miller, all of Core; one daughter, Linda Sue Rogers of Amity, PA; one brother, Robert Weber of Westover; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Lee Miller, who died on January 11, 1989, whom she married on June 4, 1938; one brother, Roy C. Weber; one sister, Orpha Deavers; one granddaughter, Lelia Sue Kimble; one great-grandson, Dakota Todd Miller; and a son-in-law, Albert L. Rogers.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with the Pastor Valinda Custer officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery.
