Everett Reeves, 59, of Daybrook, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his residence.
He was born June 10, 1953, a son of the late Carl Walter Reeves and Margaret M. Huff Reeves.
Mr. Reeves was disabled. He had formerly worked as a coal miner at the Consolidation Coal Company Blacksville #2 Mine at Wana.
Surviving are one son, Casey Joe "C.J." Reeves of Daybrook; one daughter, Shannon LeAnn Reeves of Vienna, OH; a brother-in-law, Harold Kelley of Hubbard, OH; his ex-wife, Frances A. Polansky Reeves of Mt. Clare; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Pearl Kelley and Mary Ruth Reeves.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 PM Monday. The casket will remain closed. Funeral services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
