Florence Jane Trader, 82, of Daybrook, died Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center in Morgantown.

She was born April 23, 1932 at Mooresville, a daughter of the late Plummer Statler and Hazel Roupe Statler.

Mrs. Trader was a homemaker and had currently been attending the Bula Baptist Church.

Surviving are four sons, Edward Trader of Cumberland, OH, Joseph Trader of Senecaville, OH, David Trader of Texarkana, AR, and Timothy Trader of Daybrook; two daughters, Brenda Hill or Green, OH and Barbara Copen of McCurdysville; one brother, Delbert Statler of Daybrook; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior H. Trader, who died on March 22, 2004; seven brothers and one sister and a set of twins who died shortly after birth.

The family would like to thank the staff of the 9th and 10th floors at Ruby Memorial Hospital, the staff of Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their care and compassion shown to their mother during her last illness.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, from 6-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday with the Pastor Kevin Arcola and Pastor David Trader officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery, Mooresville, WV.
