Frances Carol Hamilton Puhalla, 53, of Daybrook, died February 3, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Carol was born March 3, 1962 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of Frances Harriett Michael Hamilton of Daybrook and the late Johnnie Dee Hamilton.

She was married to Steven J. Puhalla for 30 years. They have one son, Nathan J. Puhalla, all of Daybrook.

She was an employee of Healthsouth until she became a stay at home mom with Nathan.

Additional survivors include, two brothers and their spouses, John “Buck” Hamilton and his wife Crystal and Harry D. Hamilton all of Daybrook; mother-in-law, Dolores Bricker of Fairchance, PA; three sisters-in-law, Rose and Pete Hardwood, Karen Aretta, Mary Ann and Dale Bricker, all of Fairchance, PA; one brother-in-law, Joe and Debbie Puhalla of Morgantown; step-sister-in-law, Karen Wilson and Glenn of York Run, PA; step-brother-in-law, William Bricker of PA; nieces and nephews, Chrystina & Ryan Stewart, Cliff, Logan, Jessica, Michelle, and Sarah Hamilton; great-nephews and great-nieces, Mason Stewart, Pete Hardwood, Jr, Bobbi Jo Hardwood, Jimmy Aretta, Crystal Aretta, Dale Bricker, Debbie Bricker, Joey Puhalla, Michael Puhalla, Josh Puhalla; and Kylie Bricker.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James Bricker; one great-niece, Aleah Conaway; one brother-in-law, Stephen Puhalla, and a step-sister-in-law, Jamie Lynn Bricker.

Friends may call at the Daybrook Methodist Church, 2552 Daybrook Road, Fairview, WV from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the church at 1:00 PM Saturday with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamilton-Tennant Cemetery at Daybrook.

The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV is in charge of arrangements.
