Fred Musgrave, 88, of Silver Hill Community, New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his residence.
He was born September 8, 1929 at Endicott, a son of the late Solomon Charles Musgrave and Elizabeth Riter Musgrave.
Mr. Musgrave was a retired carpenter and a 50 year member of the Carpenters Union, Local #3 of Wheeling.He was a United States Army Veteran.
Surviving are his second wife, Guelda Postlethwait Musgrave; one daughter, Diann (Lewie) Wykert of Wileyville; three sons, Charles (Patricia) Musgrave of Wileyville, Greg (Betty) Musgrave of Silver Hill, and James (Lori) Musgrave of New Martinsville; one step-daughter, Mona Kelly of Dickenson, Texas; ten grandchildren, Amy Wykert Beckett, Eric Wykert, Doug Musgrave, Justin Musgrave, Brian Musgrave, Amanda Carney, Megan Kinsey, Joshua Musgrave, Jessica Moffitt, and Chelsea Musgrave; fourteen great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles (Ila Mae) Musgrave; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilda (Long) Musgrave and one sister Norma Lee Garrison.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 5-8 PM Monday, November 20, 2017.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AMTuesday.Burial will follow in the Jolliffe Cemetery at Silver Hill.
