FREDA STILES
Freda Lea Stiles, 85, of Wana, WV died Thursday, January 8, 2026 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born June 1, 1940, a daughter of the late Jacob Strosnider and Thelma Morris Strosnider.
Mrs. Stiles was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Fellowship Church at Wana.
Surviving are six sons, Donnie Stiles of Wadestown, James N. Stiles, Jr. and his wife Sue of Crossroads, Thomas Stiles of Wana, Randall Stiles of Wana, Mark Stiles and his wife Dina of Bruceton Mills, and Stephen Stiles of Carmichaels, PA; one brother, Larry Strosnider of Weirton; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Stiles; one son David Stiles; and one sister, Nellie Wright.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery near Wadestown.
