Gayle T. Haught, 78, of Bula died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born September 23, 1928 at Brave, PA a daughter of the late Melford (Poon) Tennant and Lucy Stiles Tennant.
Gayle was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Bula Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son & spouse, Michael & Charlotte Haught of Bula; one brother and spouse, Pastor Chester and Jean Tennant of Brave, PA; one granddaughter & spouse, Lisa and Gary Statler of Moore, SC, one grandson, Shane Haught of Bula; one great-grandchild, Madison Statler and another great-grandchild on the way; one brother-in-law & spouse, Pete and Lila Haught of Bula; a sister-in-law, Minnie Moore of Waynesburg, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Haught, Jr. who died on January 7, 1998 and a brother, Burl R. Tennant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr, Pastor Hap Pruitt and LeeAnne Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Core Cemetery at Bula.
