Gearl D. "Jack" Williams, Jr., 58, of Pentress, WV passed away August 18, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 18, 1948 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Gearl D. Williams, Sr. and Gladys Christine Williams.
Jack worked for Novelis in Fairmont. He was a member of the United Steel Workers and he had a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Pai Lum Kung Fu. Jack was a Vietnam War veteran who served in the United States Army. He was also an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife Marlene Williams; two sons & spouses, Toby and Heather Ann Williams of Crofton, MD and Jarrod Williams of Pentress; two daughters & spouses, Beth & Curt Thomas of Wadestown and Shelley and Eric Johnson of Core; two brothers, Dennis and Donald Williams; three sisters, Cheryl Gallagher, Susan Michael, and Kim Brummage, and their families; three grandchildren, Jackie and Josie Thomas and Ruby Layne Johnson; and his father & mother-in-law, John and Iolene Santee.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-9PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday.
