George H. Pearce, 72, of Littleton, WV, formerly of Damascus, MD died Friday, August 9, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Pearce was born in Damascus, MD on January 30, 1941, son of Martha Catherine Pearce of Mt. Airy, MD and the late George Chester Pearce.
He attended Damascus High School and worked in the building industry until his retirement and move to West Virginia. He spent many hours enjoying the scenery and nature of his beloved farm there.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Ruby M. Bellison (Robert), Damascus, MD; and his brothers, Chester Ray Pearce of Taneytown, MD, R. Milton Pearce (Jean), of Damascus, MD and Harry Alvin Pearce (June) of Mt. Airy, MD. Also surviving his his aunt, Reva M. Pearce, of Crownsville MD, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to his devoted friend, John Neely, who with the help of his family, provided such wonderful care during his illness.
In accordance with his request, a private graveside service will be held for immediate family only.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV is in charge of arrangements.
