Gerald E. Miller, 73, of Pentress, WV died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at his residence.
He was born October 25, 1940 at Morgantown, WV, a son of the late Earl Miller and Edna Thralls Miller.
Mr. Miller was a retired coal miner and member of the United Mine Workers of America District #31.
He loved to shoot pool and he was an avid golfer. He loved showing off his corvette and his other old cars.
Surviving are a son and his spouse, Brook Miller and his wife Tonya of Rivesville; a daughter and her husband, Marcy and Jeff Eanes of Bruceton Mills; a step-sister, Doris Shaw of Winchester, VA; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Darrell Tucker of Blacksville; and four grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Kane Eanes, Luke Eanes, and Ty Eanes.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 5-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Rev. Vicki Sheppard officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
