GLADYS SIMPSON WADE
Gladys Edna Simpson Wade, 82, of Blacksville, WV died Monday, December 22, 2025 at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1943 at Jakes Run, a daughter of the late Claude Brummage and Goldie Parker Brummage.
Mrs. Wade was a homemaker.
Surviving is her husband, Allen Wade; one daughter, Connie Krafft of Weston; one brother, Ray Brummage of Jakes Run; one ½ sister, Ruth Ann Efaw of Jakes Run; two grandchildren, Raealena Nicholson of Blacksville and Allen Wade Jr. (Donna) of Fairmont; and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa Nicholson, Garett Nicholson, Irelynn Nicholson, and Laklin Wade.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Simpson, and one brother, Tom Brummage. The family would like to thank nurses Katie and Jacob from WVU Hospice for the loving care that Gladys received from them during their time with her and her family.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Linda Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
