Glenn E. "Smoke" Wade, 77, of Hundred, WV died Monday, September 7, 2009 in the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Hospital in Clarksburg, WV.
He was born April 21, 1932 at Littleton, WV a son of the late Charles Wade and Minnie Howe Wade.
Mr. Wade was a retired construction worker from Laborers Local #1149 of Wheeling.
Surviving are a son, Clayton Allison and his wife Charmagne of Hundred; one sister, Shirley Morris and her husband Calvin of Wileyville; one niece, Susie Soles of Ned, PA; and two nephews, Charlie Morris of Littleton and Calvin Morris, Jr. of Wileyville; seven great nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Wade.
At the request of the deceased his body will be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in the Tennant Funeral Home with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment of the cremains will follow in the Thomas Chapel Cemetery near Hundred.
