Goldie F. Yeater, 81, of New Martinsville, WV died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at her residence.
She was born March 30, 1935 at Howard, WV, a daughter of the late Melvin Johnson and Violet Pyles Johnson.
Mrs. Yeater was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Ricky & Ann Yeater, Terry & Doris Yeater, all of Silver Hill; two daughters, Janet Hilpert and Sharon Yeater, both of New Martinsville; one brother, Gary Johnson of New Martinsville; one sister and her husband, Juda & Tim Rush of Wileyville; ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Osney W. Yeater, Jr.; two brothers, Sylva Johnson and Bobbie Johnson; and one sister, Anna Higgins.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 5-8 PM Friday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PMSaturday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Jolliffe Cemetery at Silver Hill.
