Grace Barr, 85, of Daybrook, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her residence.
She was born December 24, 1929 at Daybrook, a daughter of the late Dempsey Dean Eddy and Malinda Ellen Tennant Eddy.
Mrs. Barr was a home maker. She was affiliated with the Daybrook Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children; Ellen Ann Wright of Randleman, NC, Glenn Norman Barr, Jr, of Moundsville, Robert Leroy Barr of Daybrook, Connie Ruth Price of Cassville, Dempsey Ray Barr of Daybrook, Charles Keith Barr of Hazlet, New Jersey, Nancy Dorene Hayhurst-Festus of Lumberport, Daniel Craig Barr of Daybrook, and Jenette Lynn Myers of Jakes Run; twenty grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glenn Norman Barr who died March 5, 2000; one daughter, Patricia Ann Barr who died as an infant, one son Richard Earl Barr who died November 30, 2000; her step-mother, Rhonda Lee Eddy; and six brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PMWednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Daybrook Cemetery.
