Grace Zinn, 94, of Grafton, WV died Thursday, November 11, 2004 in the Alliance Personal Care Home in Grafton.
She was born July 3, 1910 at Hundred, WV a daughter of the late William O. & Jennie Nichols Spitznogle.
Grace worked as a doctors assistant with her late husband in his medical practice in Hundred for many years. She loved to sew and made many things for her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Hundred United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter & son-in-law, Jenny Lynn & Ronnie Carder of Grafton; three grandchildren, Vicki Lynn Perrill of Gassaway, Julie Harris of Durham, NC, and Rhonda Bauer of Grafton; three great-grandchildren, Mancel Quinn Perrill-Bosley, Ariel Sbarra, and Alena Grace Sbarra; one step-great-grandchild, Jessie Bauer; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. "Doc" Zinn, who died on October 10, 1996. The couple was married on September 29, 1930. Two brothers, C. C. "Bus" Spitznogle, and Weldon O. Spitznogle; one sister, Margaret Spitznogle; one daughter, Peggy Perrill; and one great-granddaughter, Alexia Sbarra.
At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the Hundred United Methodist Church with the Rev. Truett Rogers officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
