Guy F. Raber, 75, of Martinsburg, WV formerly of the Wadestown area died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg.
He was born December 16, 1928 at Wadestown, WV a son of the late Howard Raber and Blanche Swanson Raber.
Mr. Raber was a retired crane operator for Universal Tank & Iron Company.He was a protestant by faith.He was a United States Navy Veteran having served in the Korean War and he also received a Purple Heart.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Price Raber, four sons, Ricky J. Raber of Falling Waters, WV, Randy H. Raber of Inwood, WV, Robert M. Raber of Martinsburg, WV, and Ronald A. Raber of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one daughter, Sherry Lynn Boyleston of Martinsburg, WV.A half-brother, Don Swanson of Coatsville, Ind, a sister, Margaret; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Melvin Swanson.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Saturday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating.Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
