Hagan F. Renner, 87, of Hundred, WV died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center in New Martinsville, WV.

He was born August 8, 1919 at Hundred, WV a son of the late Amos "Doc" Renner and Josie A. Himelrick Renner.

Mr. Renner was a retired PAT bus driver for the city of Pittsburgh, where he had worked for more than 30 years. After retiring from the PAT Authority he returned to West Virginia where he drove school bus for the Wetzel County Board of Education for more than 10 years.

He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred. He was a protestant by faith and attended the Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Patty & Bruce Bessey of Waxhaw, NC and Sharon and Don Johnson of Poughkeepsie, NY; one sister, Annabelle Scott of Pasedena, MD; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Renner; two sisters, Gretchen Booker and Nelda Rose Bissett; one brother, James Renner; and a son who died in infancy, Larry Hagan Renner.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 AM Monday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Sancho Cemetery near Hundred.
