Harold R. "Pickle" Wise, 66, of New Freeport, PA died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at his residence.
He was born June 12, 1945 at Hundred, WV, a son of the late Ezra Sylvester Wise and Hazel Hostuttler Wise.
Mr. Wise was a retired timber cutter. He was a member of the Maranatha Church of Bristoria.
Surviving are his wife, Retha L. Tustin Wise; two sons, Harold Robert Wise II of New Freeport and Timothy Gorby or Carmichaels; two daughters, Hazel R. Wise of Deep Valley and Paula L. Gorby of New Freeport; five brothers, Dewey Wise, Larry Wise, William Joseph Wise, Freddie Wise, and Charles David Wise; one sister, Dinah Darlene Wise; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Edis Wise.
Friends may call at Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 PM Saturday with Pastor Kay Berdine officiating. Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery at Ned, PA.
