Hazel P. Stiles, 91, of Wana, WV died Friday, February 9, 2007 at her residence.
She was born June 23, 1915 at Big Run, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas J. Higginbotham and Margaret Ellen Barr Higginbotham.
Mrs. Stiles was a homemaker and a former member of the Crossroads Community Chapel.
Surviving are one son & daughter-in-law, Raymond and Mary Lou Stiles of Wana; one daughter & son-in-law, Helen and Don Pyle of Mt. Morris, PA; three grandchildren & spouses, Randy and Beth Stiles of Wana, Karen Stiles & Fiance' Danny Church of Wana; and Joe and Charlotte Pyle of Mt. Morris, PA; four great-grandchildren, Spencer Stiles, Lana Stiles, Aaron Pyle, and Andrew Pyle.
Also surviving is her devoted caregiver and best "Buddy", Lena Lewis, who had cared for Mrs. Stiles for over seven years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlen Stiles; and four sisters, Myrtle Fisher, Phyllis Smallwood, Lucy Rebold, and Maxine Mack.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 5-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Tuesday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Haught Cemetery.
