Helen Boylen, 82, of Daybrook, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Morgantown.
She was born September 8, 1932 at Grafton, WV, a daughter of the late Leo J. Watkins and Violet Stevens Watkins.
Mrs. Boylen was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband’s timber business, Boylen Timber Company.
Helen was a member of the Jakes Run Assembly of God.
Surviving is her husband of 64 years, William “Bill” Boylen; a son and daughter-in-law, William Kenneth Boylen, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Fairview; two daughters and son-in-laws, Joyce Linville and her husband Robert of Fairmont and Linda Gerard and her husband Sunda of Morgantown; three brothers, Richard Watkins of Virginia, Robert Watkins and Charles Ray Watkins both of Grafton; three sisters, Ruby Jean Tucker of North Carolina, Edith Barto of Blacksville, and Patty Wolfe of Florida; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Dale Watkins.
Friends may call at the Jakes Run Assembly of God from 2-8 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the church at 11:00 AM Wednesday with Pastor Robert Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
