James C. "Jimmie" Watson, 89, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in Sistersville Center Nursing Home.
He was born December 13, 1919 at Rockport, near Littleton, a son of the late William Watson and Mattie Gorby Wood.
Mr. Watson was a farmer and worked on Henderson Farms near Littleton for over 30 years.
Surviving are one half-sister, Allene Jane Wood, of Cameron; one nephew, Nicholas C. Wood of Hopedale, Ohio; and his friends and employers, Maxine Henderson, Howard Henderson, and Linda Henderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by fifteen brothers and sisters, many of whom died as infants.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday with the Rev. Charlene Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Jolliffe-Henderson Cemetery near Littleton.
