James L. “Leon” Shough, 70, of Wana, WV passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 20, 2016 on his farm.
Leon was born October 23, 1945 in Greene County, PA - a son of the late Charles R. “Bob” Shough and Betty Troy Shough.
He graduated from West Greene High School and served in Korea as a member of the U.S. Army. He retired from Forest Construction in 2009 after over 40 years working construction.
Poppop Leon enjoyed his retirement spending time with his granddaughters in FL and they were the love of his life.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie L. Shough; his daughter and son-in-law, Krysti and Pat Gunter of Palm Bay, FL; two granddaughters, Amber and Autumn Gunter of Palm Bay, FL; and two brothers, Wayne Shough of Wind Ridge, PA and David Shough of Morgantown, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Patricia Six, Carole Richardson and Carla Lewicki; and two twin brothers, Ronald Shough and Robert Shough.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2pm at Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV.
