JANICE BRUMMAGE

          Janice Brummage, 86 of Fairview, WV died Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.

          She was born August 9, 1939 on Statler Run, a daughter of the late Joseph L. Eddy and Florence E. Tennant Eddy.

          Janice was a retired baker and she retired from WVU Hospital in Morgantown.  She was a member of the Highland Church.

          Surviving is her husband, Ray Brummage; one son, Richard Paul (Wilma) Eddy, of Fairview; two daughters, Florence Waxler of Fairview and Debora (Kevin) Mowrey of Fairmont; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ray Brummage, Jr; and eight siblings, Paul Eddy, Tom Eddy, Ruby Copeland, Louella Bane, Eileen Moore, Betty Pearl Eddy, Olen Eddy, and Regina Eddy; a son-in-law, Timothy Waxler, and two great-granddaughters, Angelina Yoho and Madison Cale.

          Janice chose cremation as her method of final disposition.  At her request there will not be any services.

          The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
