Jeffrey Alan Clovis, 48, of Morgantown, formerly of the Wadestown area passed away suddenly in an accident along Interstate 79 on August 9, 2016.
He was the first child born of Donald Charles Clovis and Linda Kay Tucker.Jeff was a stepson to Donna Clovis and Darrell Tucker.
Jeff was born January 29, 1968 in Morgantown.
Mr. Clovis worked as a 3 ton wrecker operator for Summers Towing. He had worked for Summers Towing for 27 years.
He lived life to the fullest and wasn’t afraid to tell you how it was.He enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife and close friends.He will be greatly missed by many family, friends, and co-workers.
Jeff is survived by his wife Sheila Clovis; daughter, Jennifer Clovis; step-daughter, Skyler Johnson; brother, Brent Clovis; sister, Michelle Yost; and brother-in-law, Brett Yost; nieces and nephews, Samantha Clovis, Cody Clovis, Savannah Yost and Pony Yost.Along with his faithful companions Rocky and Kitty.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Edna Miller and Charles and Elizabeth Clovis.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 2-9 PM Friday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating.Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery near Hundred.
