Jerry Duane Batson, 52, of Mannington, WV died Friday, November 19, 2010 at his residence.
He was born December 4, 1957 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Delbert Lee Batson and Elizabeth Grace Starkey Batson.
Mr. Batson formerly worked as a body man and as a mechanic. He was baptised in the Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Donna George Batson, of Middlebourne, WV; two daughters, Julia Batson of Farmington and Jerrah Batson of Barrackville; two brothers, Delbert Lee Batson of Four States and Harlen Batson of Curtisville; two sisters, Lucy Mae Lambert of Curtisville and Scarlett Sayer of Burton; one step-son, Levin Quinn of Paden City; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased, his body will be cremated. A private family memorial service will be held a later date.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of the arrangements.
