JERRY LEE PRICE

          Jerry Lee Price, 78, of Days Run Community, Fairview, WV died Saturday, November 15, 2025 in the Morgantown Heights of Journey Nursing Facility.

          He was born November 22, 1946 at Wadestown, WV, a son of the late Kenneth Price and Goldie Roupe Price.

          Jerry was retired from Consolidation Coal Company #2 where he had worked for more than 30 years.  He was a member of the Morgantown Moose Lodge #264.

          Some of his hobbies included, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and gardening.  He enjoyed doing anything that involved working with his hands.  He loved bowling and collecting die cast cars.  He was a Buffalo Bills fan.

          Surviving is his twin brother, Gary Price of Mannington; one daughter, Lisa Thorne (Jimmy) of Days Run; two sons, Jeff Price (Billie) of Daybrook and Jerry Allan Price (Michael Bishop) of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Feleena Towns, Derek Towns, Dakota Price, Jordan Price, and Ashley Price; great-grandchildren, A. J. Towns, Sawyer Tennant, and Cashton Lee; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Price; one brother, Albert Price; and one sister, Dorothy Raber.

          The family would like to thank his daughter, Lisa, for taking care of dad.  The family would like to say Thank You to Morgantown Hospice Care and Morgantown Heights for the care during his final days.

          Friends and family may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Rose Saunders.  Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
