Jesse Lee Bean, Jr, 69, of Metz, WV died Saturday, January 22, 2005 in the John Manchin Sr. Health Care Center in Fairmont.
He was born September 26, 1935 in the Cook Hospital in Fairmont, a son of the late Jesse Lee Bean Sr. and Olive Metz Bean.
He worked at various forms of employment including Albert Cowell's Garage, Fairmont Aluminum, Fairmont Box Company, and retired as a machinest from Fairview Bit Company.
His hobbies were attending sporting events, attending auto races, riding and working on motorcycles, and tinkering with his cars. Also, in recent years he became fond of feeding the ducks.
He was a Christian and a kind and loving person--always ready and willing to share and help those in need.
Surviving are one son, Eddie Lee Bean, of Stanfield, NC; one daughter and son-in-law, Trina Bean Trickett and his husband Robert Trickett; two grandsons, R. J. & Brian Trickett; his former wife, Lyndel Kay Hendershot Bean, all of Oakboro, NC; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Sam Bean of Metz, and Joe and Alice Bean of Fairmont.
Nieces and nephews, Kim Bean Jones and husband Keith of Kentucky; Beth Bean Dial and husband John of Florida, and nephew T. J. Bean and wife, Adrienne of Fairmont; as well as 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 Noon Wednesday with the Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
