Joanna R. Robbins, 77, of Blue Goose Road, Fairview, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 in the Golden Living Center in Morgantown.
She was born July 10, 1932 at Blacksville, a daughter of the late Wilbert H. Jones and Edna Shuman Jones.
Mrs. Robbins was a homemaker and she loved to collect all types of things. She was a protestant by faith.
Surviving are her husband, James "Jim" Robbins; three sons, Gary Robbins, Samuel Robbins, and Daniel Robbins, all of Blue Goose; one daughter, Deborah Mercer of Hundred; two brothers, Donald Jones or Florida and Fred Jones of Blacksville; one sister, Shirley Talbert of Morgantown; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother, Melvin Jones.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday with the Rev. Charlene Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
