John Alan Ray, 72, of Southaven, MS. Passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years to the day, Beverly Ray, children, James Alan Ray (Jerri), Vicki Susanne Hopper (Doyle), Kimberly Michelle Pfaller (Mark), Rhonda Leigh Holder (Eric), grandchildren, Matt, Alyx, Kayli, Makenzie, Jon Logan, Caleb, Ashlyn, Spencer, Mika and Hailey, four great-grandchildren, Veda, Ava, Della and Rubi, and his siblings, Edward Ray, Ronald Ray, Charles Ray and Diana Satterfield. John was the original owner of Continental Water. He was a longtime member of Christ the Rock / Renewal Church. The family cordially invites friends and relatives to gather for a time of sharing remembrances on Thursday, September 1st from 6 o'clock in the evening to 8 o'clock in the evening at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. in Memphis.The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 2nd at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Cummings Street Missionary Baptist Church, 8800 Winchester Road, in Memphis.The committal service will be held on Sunday September 11th at Rice Ridge Road Cemetery in Cameron, WV.
