John Allen Haines, 67, of Cairo, WV died Friday, January 12, 2018 at his residence.
He was born April 5, 1950 at Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Robert Eck and Ethel Haines.
Mr. Haines worked for the township and also for the roads and streets department in Edgewater Park, NJ.
John was a member of the Xavier Catholic Church in Parkersburg, WV.
Surviving is his wife, Janet Mercer Haines; one son, Frankie Hill of Harrisville, WV; three daughters, Jan Stone of Beverly, NJ, Judy Haines of Cairo, and Samantha Haines of Pennsboro; four grandchildren, Amy Rose Brenden, Jan Rebecca Russon, Taylor Larson, and Domenique Stone; and two great-grandchildren, Lily Brendon and Jonathan Brendon.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Arthur Brenden.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday.Services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00.Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery near Hundred, WV.
