JOHN “BULL” GUMP

          John Junior “Bull” Gump, 81, of Coburn, WV died Saturday, October 23, 2021 in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          He was born March 18, 1940 at Coburn, WV, a son of the late Richard Gump and Alta M. Gump.

          Bull was a retired operating engineer.  He was a member of the IUOE Local #132 and worked out of both Local #132 and Local #66.  He was a member of the Littleton Lodge #131 AM & AM.

          Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Mary Jo Church Gump; two sisters, Shirley Davis and Katherine Snider; and several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
