Joye E. Roberts, 98, of Bear Run, Littleton, WV died Saturday, August 19, 2006 in the Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV.
She was born April 21, 1908 at Dean, WV a daughter of the late Jonathan Sole and Mary Thomas Sole.
Joye was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wetzel County Farm Bureau, the Crossroads Homemakers Club, and the Morris Run Church of Christ.
Surviving are one son, Charles L. Roberts of Bear Run, Littleton, three nephews,
one niece, and her caregivers, Bud and Marie Sapp of Littleton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Otho Roberts; two sisters, Bernice Burke and Hazel Hix, and two brothers, Charles Sole and Samuel Sole.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery.
