Juanita D. Raber, 76, of Spraggs, PA died Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born August 1, 1940 at Bula, a daughter of the late August Rebold and Opal V. Simpson Rebold.
Mrs. Raber was a homemaker. In her early years she worked at Westinghouse, West Virginia University Hospital and Bells Market in Blacksville. She was a 1958 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School and she was a member of the Bula Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Scott Edward Raber and his wife Kirstan of Iowa Park, TX and Sheldon Eugene Raber and his wife Andrea of Fairmont; a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Raber of Waynesburg; one brother and his wife, Randy Rebold and his wife Cheryl of Morgantown; eight grandchildren, Matthew Raber and his wife Rachel, Ethan Raber, Madison Raber, Alyssa Raber, Kaitlin Raber, Lane Raber, Bregan Besedich and Colby Besedich; and one great-grandchild, Kaden Besedich.
Juanita was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Raber, Jr. who died on January 17, 2015; one son, Carl Steven Raber; one daughter who died as an infant, Belinda Raber; and one brother, A. Allen Rebold.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-8 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with Pastor James Zinn officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
