Julia M. "Judy" McNeely, 73, of Hundred, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Judy had fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born November 4, 1940 at New Martinsville, a daughter of the late Hannah Sole.
Judy served as the recorder for the Town of Hundred for many years.
She was a member of the former Long Drain Church of Christ and she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Ohio Willoughby Chapter #202.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Bob McNeely; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Pic Dieffenbauch of Hundred; two grandchildren and their spouses, Brooke Lemasters and her husband Brian of Sardis, OH and Wil Dieffenbauch of Morgantown; and her beloved dog "Scooter".
Judy was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Sole, and one sister, Lucille Hoult.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. The graveside service will be held at the Harmony Cemetery at Burton with Pastor Linda Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.
