June Evans, 67, of Wana, WV died Wednesday, November 16, 2005 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born July 28, 1938 at Wana, a daughter of the late LeRoy Cumberledge and Fern Haught Cumberledge.
Mrs. Evans worked at the Blacksville Library as a librarian for 18 years. She was a member of the Truth Assembly of Wadestown, WV.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Jeannie Evans of Beckley and Jim and Beth Evans of Gaithersburg, MD; one daughter, Rhonda Umstead of Burton; three sisters, Dorothy Tennant of Crossroads, Glenda Wood of Pittsburgh, PA, and Kathryn Tennant of Wickliffe, Ohio; five grandchildren, Christopher Rose, Brandi Evans, Justin Umstead, Ethan Umstead, and Meliah Umstead; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Evans; one daughter Brenda Malott; three sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held at the Truth Assembly of Wadestown at 1:00 PM Saturday with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Bank Cemetery, Pine Bank, PA.
