Karen Elaine Jackson Simpson Sago, 64, of Core, WV died Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born June 18, 1952 at Cassville, a daughter of the late Robert Jackson and Mabel Gladys Wisenbaler Jackson.
Ms. Sago was a hairdresser/beautician in the Blacksville area for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Hope Church.
Surviving are one sister, Margaret Batton of Fort Martin; three grandchildren, Timberlyn Kramer of Core, Whitley Clemons of Morgantown, and James A. Simpson of Romney; and four great-grandchildren, Liam and Levi Clemons and Adon and Brianna Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Alan Sago; her daughter, Marti Jo Simpson; four brothers, Robert, Howard, Randy, and Johnny Jackson; and two sisters, Florence Foxx and Delores Wilson.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at2:00 PM with Rev. Allen Donham officiating.
Following the services her desire for cremation will be honored.
