Karen S. Myers, 56, of Jakes Run died Friday, October 6, 2006 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a lengthly illness.
She was born May 28, 1950 at Jakes Run, a daughter of Virginia Lucille Fletcher Tennant and the late Howard W. Tennant.
Karen was a housewife and mother. She was a former member of the Jakes Run Tops and she attended the Jakes Run Assembly of God. She was a graduate of Clay-Battelle High School.
Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, Nicholas "Nick" Myers, and one son, Travis Myers, at home.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbert Earl Tennant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral at 11:00 AM Tuesday with the Pastor Rob Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
