KAYE L. WILKINS
Kaye Lorraine Wilkins, 82, of Hundred, WV died Monday June 15, 2026 in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.
She was born April 17, 1944 at Big Run, Marshall County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Herman Turner and Julia R. McNinch Turner.
Kaye and her husband Virgil owned and operated V & K Market in Hundred for more than 32 years. The store was operated from three different locations.
Nanny had a heart of gold. She also had a soft heart for animals. She was a member of the Hundred United Methodist Church. She was the one who would organize all of the church dinners for different occasions.
Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Virgil L. Wilkins; three daughters, Chandra L. Kimble of Burton; Colette Polk and Letitia Wilkins, both of Gainesville, VA; three grandchildren, Danielle Larson, Corey Kimble, and Grant Polk; six great-grandchildren, Addison Larson, Leina Larson, Raegen Kimble, Teagan Kimble, Eloise Kimble, and Cyrus Kimble; a sister-in-law, Margaret Rose Turner of Mt. Nebo, WV; a brother-in-law, David Earl Wilkins of Mathias, WV; and two nephews, Bobby Turner and David Turner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Turner and Charles Dean Turner, and a son-in-law, Scott Kimble.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Funeral services will be held In the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Gardens in Burton.
