God called Kyle Glenn Howard, 71, of Crossroads, home to be with Him April 27, 2011.
Kyle was born September 11, 1939, son of the late Ernest and Ethel Yost Howard.
He was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Crossroads where he served as trustee for many years. Kyle loved the Lord, his family, and gospel music.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Opal; one son Daniel Howard and wife Holly of Old Fields, WV; one daughter, Darlene Brower and husband Troy of Mannington; one brother, Scotty Howard and wife Manoki of Crossroads; one step-brother, Kent Parker and wife Betty of Munroe Falls, Ohio; eight grandchilren, Sarah, Jason, Adam, Aaron, Luke, and Levi Howard, Samuel and Andrew Brower, and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one stillborn son, two brothers, Jimmy Howard and Richard Howard, and two nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 3-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Saturday with Pastor Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. and Pastor Everett Palmer officiating.
Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
